GOD HELP NIGERIA

The wickedness in Nigeria has reached an alarming rate, people are slaughtered like ordinary animals daily. The recent video of the 4 Boys brutally murdered in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State goes to show how insensitive Nigerians have become, for human beings to kill their fellow human being in cold blood shows that we have no regard for human life and we have thrown any value we have to the wind. The Mubi students that were murdered in Adamawa State is another case for concern and by now we should all know evil men are on the increase to shed blood. We must all condemn in strong terms these murders and ask that our government and other security operatives make investigations and bring to book everyone involved. The bystanders at the Port-Harcourt jungle justice scene should also be charged for the murder of those boys.

We must start educating ourselves that taking laws into our hands is
unacceptable and the government must make sure that we all have confidence in them, the police and the judiciary to make sure justice is not compromised.
We must pray for our land asking God for mercy, and also pray that all those thirsty for blood will eat their own flesh and drink their own blood. Let us also pray as individuals that we and our family members will be far from such evil. All parents should at this time caution their children on the friends they keep and places they go to.
Let's pray that God will console everyone bereaved and heal our land.

The truth is Nigeria and Nigerians need Jesus Christ, not in words only but in deed. We all need to forsake our evil ways and ask for God's mercy for ourselves and our land. Let us not forget that any seed we sow, we will reap. Let our watchword as Nigerians be " Do as you would be done by" let us love ourselves and love others. Let me end this post by reminding us all of the ten commandment as written in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 of the bible. This commandment was given by God to help His people live and do right. I think it's time we are all reminded that there are laws in place, even if we don't fear man, let's fear God who created us all and who we will all stand before one day to give account of our stay on earth. God help us all.

Find below the ten commandment which will help some of us to know that we have truly gone far from God and what we see today is the result of our self centered living. May God help us to read with understanding and truly repent. If Nigeria will change, it will start with us all.

Then God gave the people all these instructions: ( New Living Translation)

I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

1.You must not have any other god but me.

2. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.

3. You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.

4. Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

5. Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

6. You must not murder.

7. You must not commit adultery.

8. You must not steal.

9. You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.

10. You must not covet your neighbor’s house. You must not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.

Note: even if we do not believe in God, am sure most religions are against killing others except those that need the human sacrifice for power. It's time to preach real love in our various places of worship and remind ourselves of the ten commandments which God gave. Christians should be reminded more about this commandment as if other religions claim ignorance of it, we can not.
Action : let's read Matthew 5: 17, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 22:36-40, Luke 6:31-36, Romans13:8-10, Galatians 5:14, James 2:8
