Finishing Strong

I first heard or read this, from Author John Maxwell and from Zig Ziglar; both men happen to be among my favorite authors and mentors. Recently with all the news i have been hearing and looking at my own life, i have come to realise, that its easy to start, but finishing is more important..and finishing strong or very well, most important!

I recently read a story from a book that talked about a young man that graduated from school with very good grades, and after a period of searching for jobs, countless tests, interviews and not getting one, he took to crime, after a while, he was caught and while he was in jail, a letter came from one of the companies, he got interviewed, with fabulous benefits..if only he had thought of finishing strong and waited patiently, maybe his story would have been different.

With our Christian race, its not starting but finishing strong, ending well and in Christ. I tell most of my friends that i have gone too far with God to go back..i so look forward to that words from God.."Thou good and faithful servant enter into my rest! So my prayer for you and for myself is that we all work out our salvation with fear and trembling and guide jealously our walk with God. May God deliver us all from anything that will rob us of our salvation in Jesus name amen

Do you know:
The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.Ecclesiates 7 - 8 .

Prayer Point - Ask that God will remove every besetting sin from your life and above all, help you not to take His grace and mercy for granted in Jesus name amen.

Action: The devil is out in so many ways to steal, kill and destroy, he is attacking men of God in the areas of money, women and pride, lets pray as a group that God will deliver us and our loved ones from such. Please if you are in this group and you are a man of God in adultery or fornication, Please i beg you in God's name, give it up as the end may prove fatal! May this not be our portion in Jesus name amen. God bless us all.

NOTE - This was sent to the group, Next Generation of Fathers on Facebook, but i thought it was worth join in praying for yourself and i, to finish strong and in Christ.
