i have had my thoughts on mentoring recently; finding the right people to mentor me, spiritually/ministry wise, marriage/family wise, career wise, financially etc, as i have discovered that a mentor can help sharpen your focus and also help work on various issues as it relates to your character.

I have also discovered through the bible, a lot of people that got their breakthroughs as a result of people helping them to reach their great destinies. Secularly, People like Tiger Woods and the Williams sisters got a head start in their chosen career because their dads took time to mentor them, character wise and on the game.

I believe we all need such mentors. Ruth had Naomi, Elisha had Elijah, Esther had Mordecai, these uncommon mentors taught their proteges priceless truths with patience as a common virtue in all three cases. I pray that God will give us mentors that will help shape our characters in Jesus name amen.

Do you know - The worth of any relationship can be measured by its influence on your immediate priorities - (Mike Murdock). The disciples of Jesus are a testimony of this, seeing that their priorities changed when they sat under the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Point - Ask God to help you have a closer relationship with the mentor of mentors, the Holy Spirit as well as connect you with the one person that will help move you to your next level.

Take action: I have heard Bishop Oyedepo talk about the role the late ArchBishop Benson Idahosa played in his life/ministry, i have also heard my pastor, Rev.Sam Adeyemi talk about the role of Bishop Oyedepo in his life/ministry, secular wise, i have heard Tyler Perry, the film maker and actor talk about Oprah Winfrey's role in his life/career..Do yourself a favor, prayerfully get a mentor.. God help us all.
