This post, was written for Wife's Healing Clinic on facebook, an arm of Praying wife for hurting women that need God's touch to truly become praying wives! As usual, i brought it here to help us all learn true life lessons!

Its a long post, but read prayerfully and receive a word for your miracle and testimony! I got inspired to write this as i was talking on the phone with a covenant sister of mine, who is also my prayer partner and sounding board...i go to her to free my soul and just vent!lol! Thanks dear...You know yourself and i truly appreciate what you represent in my life! My own Elizabeth!

Before i go further with this, i will like to give us a text, that i would be referring to as i take you on this journey

Mary Visits Elizabeth

39 - At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 - where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth.
41 - When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 - In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 - But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 - As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.45 - Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!" 46 - And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord. 47 - and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 - for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, 49 - for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. 50 - His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. 51 - He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. 52 - He has brought down rulers from their thrones
but has lifted up the humble. 53 - He has filled the hungry with good things
but has sent the rich away empty. 54 - He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful.55 - to Abraham and his descendants forever,
even as he said to our fathers."
56 - Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.

From the scriptures above, it tells us of Mary's visit to Elizabeth, Elizabeth was married to Zechariah, a priest, and the bible records, she and her husband served God and were blameless, but yet, they were childless, as Elizabeth was barren and both well along in years!(You need to read the whole chapter 1 of Luke, to appreciate Elizabeth's story).
After, the husband's encounter with angel Gabriel, she indeed became pregnant but she remained in seclusion for five sure figuring how, an old woman like herself will go around carrying a portruding tummy...but indeed, as she said in verse 25, "The Lord has done this for these days, he has shown, his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people"...God would indeed take away the disgrace of someone reading this post with similar challenges and give her a testimony in Jesus name amen!

In her 6th month, Mary, a virgin had an encounter with an angel and the angel also told her about her cousin, Elizabeth's testimony, saying "Nothing is impossible with God"! Mary did not waste time, she travelled to see Elizabeth...and the above verses were the result of their meeting...

From their encounter, i can see true God given friendship, a virgin with no experience carrying a divine child and an older experienced woman carrying a child of testimony!
Mary could go to Elizabeth, because Elizabeth too was carrying a seed of greatness just like Mary...this can be seen also in the context of birthing a dream or vision, you need people like Mary... who can make your baby leap, those who can truly encourage you to birth your dream and your vision, people that will encourage you to forget your past and look forward to a better & greater tommorrow, people that will celebrate and be happy at what God is doing in your life, people that will be there for you, when you are at your lowest, and will encourage you to get out of your sad mode to wait for your testimony!

People who are going no where will lead you to no where! people who can not bear to see you succeed except they first succeed will never support your dream or help birth it! People who are jealous or envious of what you have will often times, not be happy to see you, they will dispel bad vibes and sow seeds of non achievement in you...they will tolerate you and not celebrate you! They will frustrate you with their body language and talk down at you....

Imagine, if Elizabeth, had told Mary..ehen, Holy Spirit baby girl..loose ni...pregnant virgin!!!, am sure, she would have looked for a way to abort Jesus...but the all knowing God, knowing she needed help, positive words, a person that will celebrate what God was doing in her life and also encourage her to be in the right frame of mind to birth a unique baby and Saviour of the world took her to Elizabeth, am sure she also helped to teach Mary, how to handle negative talks from others as she had been there...being married to a "pastor", praying for others, and yet she was barren and stricken in age!...who better than Elizabeth to take young Mary through the path of side talks and the encouragement to keep on keeping on despite all!

Its recorded in the Bible, that Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three i am guessing, since she was there when Elizabeth was six months gone in her pregnancy, she waited for John to be born before she left, so she too was there to serve, to encourage Elizabeth, to keep her company as her "Pastor" Husband then had been made dumb for disbelieving the angel.., so Mary became her talking mate, the one she could tell things and get a positive feedback from, the one that she shared how she will celebrate when John is born...the one that helped her to massage her feet when she was tired...the one that helped her to shop and sort out clothes for the baby!

This was a indeed a relationship of mutual benefit, a relationship of blessing but for Mary...a relationship of her older cousin genuinely celebrating what God was doing in her life...without bitterness.
How many of us ladies have been there for the young ladies around many of us have encouraged those around us in pains..without blaming them for being the cause of their problems!Ii believe in constructive criticism but how many of us have seen younger ladies or even ladies of our age, doing something we can not do and yet we just bad mouth and criticise them as we are not the one doing the things ourselves... i hear everyday..."you women hate yourselves and you are your own problem", but am thankful to God, that i have always had Elizabeths in my life per time, to help me through my difficult and trying times and i thank God in my own little way...i have been an Elizabeth to people too...but more than ever before, there is a call for more Elizabeths and Mary in this trying times.
As we rise up to celebrate what God is doing in other people's lives, homes, ministry..God will bless us indeed, as what we make happen for others, God will make happen for us (you).... be an Elizabeth, a Mary or a Job that prayed for his friends despite their wrong counsel and got restored! (Job42-10).Shallom!
